Oracle Database Administrator / DBA (Oracle, UNIX, RAC, RMAN) – Bradford, West Yorkshire.
My client, a multimillion pound turnover Plc undergoing a major IT Transformation programme, has an outstanding opportunity for an Oracle Database Administrator.
You will be responsible for having a key role in rolling out new systems based on a high-end UNIX infrastructure with Oracle applications running on highly durable databases.
You will also be accountable for management and maintenance of the company's databases which will include supporting the core systems and being part of larger IT projects.
The ideal candidate will have vast experience of Oracle databases, having provided 2nd/ 3rd line support for live business systems and have worked on a number of large development projects.
The skills required for this role include RAC, RMAN, Data-Guard and Grid Control. Having exposure to UNIX is a must and OCA or OCP is highly desirable.
